KSV Instruments manufactures the widest available range of fine scientific equipment for the area of surface and interfacial science. The first major product line is contact angle / surface tension measuring devices. Several different techniques are available to allow determination of the contact angle of liquids on surfaces, the surface free energy of solids and the surface and interfacial tension of liquids. These parameters are of fundamental importance in a plethora of academic and industrial applications. The second major product line is the Langmuir-Blodgett devices for preparation and study of monolayers and multilayers for nanotechnology and biology applications. More recent product lines such as dissipative QCM and monolayer analysis equipment illustrate our commitment to innovation. Often in cooperation with academic and industrial research scientists to meet more exacting needs, this culture of innovation pushes the boundaries in terms of quality and precision.
